With age and life style choices (tea, coffee, tobacco, red wine) teeth can darken or discolour.
In the past crowns or veneers have been used to change tooth colour.
We can also change tooth colour (that is to lighten them) using a form of peroxide specially formulated to be suitable for dental use.
This material is generally placed in specially made “trays” (taken from a mould of your teeth). You are then required to wear the trays for 30-60 minutes per day for 7-10 days. Results are variable and dependant on original state of the teeth needing attention.
Once you have had the trays made you are able to use them again at a later date if required.
